Leadership training that changes how you lead

We work with executives who want practical skills, not motivational slogans. Our programmes are built around real decisions you face every quarter, every board meeting, every restructuring.

Who we are

A small, focused team of former C-suite leaders and organisational psychologists based in Scotland.

Our coaching team in discussion

Elite Exec Insight was founded in 2019 by two former chief operating officers who grew tired of watching talented leaders attend expensive seminars and return with nothing actionable. We built something different: training that starts with your actual organisational challenges and works backward to the skills you need.

Our facilitators have held VP, COO, and managing director roles across financial services, energy, healthcare, and technology. They bring direct experience of leading through mergers, regulatory crises, and rapid-scale growth. That first-hand knowledge shapes every exercise, case study, and feedback session we deliver.

We cap cohort sizes at twelve participants. Smaller groups mean each person receives direct coaching time, and discussions stay grounded in specific scenarios rather than abstract theory.

What we offer

Programmes designed for senior leaders, delivered in formats that fit demanding schedules.

Strategic decision-making

A two-day intensive where you work through five real business scenarios drawn from recent corporate events. You practise structured decision frameworks, stress-test assumptions with peers, and receive scored feedback on your reasoning quality. Participants leave with a personal decision audit they can apply to their next board paper.

One-to-one executive coaching

Eight sessions over four months, each 90 minutes. We pair you with a coach who has led at your level in your sector. Sessions cover communication under pressure, stakeholder management, and personal leadership style. Between sessions, you complete structured reflection exercises tied to live projects in your role.

Leadership team alignment

For executive teams of four to ten. Over three days, we diagnose friction points in how your team communicates, delegates, and resolves disagreement. We use recorded role-play, 360-degree input from direct reports, and facilitated conflict resolution. The output is a written team charter with specific commitments each member signs.

Board readiness programme

Designed for senior leaders preparing for their first non-executive or board appointment. Covers governance obligations, financial literacy for directors, and the shift from operational to oversight thinking. Runs as four half-day modules over six weeks, with mock board meetings facilitated by experienced chairs.

Crisis leadership simulation

A one-day immersive exercise. We simulate a multi-stakeholder crisis, complete with media pressure, regulatory calls, and internal leaks. You lead a response team under time constraints while our facilitators introduce escalating complications. Debriefs focus on your communication clarity, delegation speed, and emotional regulation.

Ongoing learning membership

Monthly 90-minute virtual masterclasses on topics chosen by members, plus access to our case study library of 200+ leadership scenarios. Members also receive quarterly peer-matching for structured accountability partnerships. Annual membership costs less than a single day of most consulting firm workshops.

How we work with you

Four steps from first conversation to measurable leadership growth.

1

Discovery call

A 45-minute conversation where we learn about your organisation, the challenges your leaders face, and what success looks like for you. We ask pointed questions about recent decisions that went well and ones that didn't. No sales pitch during this call.

2

Diagnostic assessment

We interview key stakeholders, review existing leadership feedback data, and map the gaps between current capability and the demands of your strategy. This takes about two weeks and produces a written diagnostic report.

3

Programme design and delivery

Using the diagnostic, we build a programme with content, exercises, and coaching arcs tailored to your team. Delivery happens at your offices, at our facility in Scotland, or in a hybrid format. Each session includes pre-work so time together is spent practising, not listening to lectures.

4

Follow-up and measurement

Three months after programme completion, we conduct follow-up interviews with participants and their direct reports. We measure behavioural change against the baseline diagnostic. You receive a detailed impact report with recommendations for continued development.

What our clients say

Feedback from leaders who completed our programmes.

"The crisis simulation day was uncomfortable in the best way. I discovered blind spots in how I communicate under pressure that no amount of self-reflection would have revealed. My team noticed the difference within weeks."

COO, Financial services

"We brought in Elite Exec Insight for our leadership team alignment programme. The facilitators called out dynamics we had been tiptoeing around for years. Six months later, our executive meetings run 40 minutes shorter and produce clearer outcomes."

CEO, Healthcare technology

"The one-to-one coaching gave me a structured way to think about stakeholder management that I still use daily. My coach had been a managing director in my industry, so the advice was specific, not generic. Worth every penny."

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from prospective clients.

It depends on the format. Our shortest offering is the one-day crisis simulation. The coaching programme runs over four months. Team alignment is typically three days. We also design custom engagements that can span six to twelve months for larger organisations undertaking significant leadership transitions.
Yes. About half our work happens at client sites across the UK, and we regularly travel to European offices. Virtual delivery is available for coaching sessions and our monthly masterclasses. For immersive programmes, we recommend in-person delivery because role-play and group dynamics work better face to face.
Our facilitators have direct operating experience in financial services, energy, healthcare, technology, and professional services. That said, leadership challenges like decision quality, team alignment, and crisis response are structurally similar across sectors. We have worked with clients in manufacturing, retail, and the public sector with strong results.
We baseline leadership behaviours before the programme using structured interviews and, where available, existing 360-degree feedback data. Three months after completion, we repeat the assessment with the same stakeholders. The comparison gives a clear picture of behavioural change. We report on specific competencies, not vague satisfaction scores.
Pricing depends on programme length, cohort size, and whether we travel to your site. As a rough guide, the one-to-one coaching programme starts at £4,800 per participant. Team programmes start at £18,000 for groups up to eight. We provide a detailed quote after the discovery call, with no obligation.
